Dronefly Parent Company Enterprise UAS is Exclusive Master Distributer of Teledyne FLIR's SIRAS drone

Dronefly parent company Enterprise UAS has been awarded the title of exclusive master distributor with thermal imaging powerhouse Teledyne FLIR and its SIRAS™ drone. The SIRAS™ drone is a new enterprise-grade drone that comes equipped with the Vue® TV128 radiometric thermal and visible camera payload system. SIRAS is a foldable, midsize, professional-grade drone designed for inspections in the industrial and utility sectors, as well as public safety, firefighting, and search and rescue operations.

As exclusive master distributor of SIRAS, Enterprise UAS is in charge of all sales, as well as the training and support of the SIRAS drone in the United States. During the process of developing SIRAS, Enterprise UAS was also responsible for providing Teledyne FLIR aircraft performance requirements and flight-testing feedback. The primary and ongoing product support services will be provided by Enterprise UAS. These services will include first-line product repair, maintenance, and technical advice.

According to the Executive Vice President of Enterprise UAS, Randall Warnas, "Teledyne FLIR has stepped up to the plate with SIRAS to fill in the gap for a high-quality thermal imaging drone at a competitive price of $9,695. Having been on the front lines of the growth of aerial thermal imaging, I’m excited to see new products from a brand as well-known and respected as Teledyne FLIR, who has the track record, longevity, and resources to back up the introduction of a new drone into the market. As indicated by the overwhelming response to early testing of SIRAS, end users certainly have something to be excited about."

The SIRAS comes equipped with a quick-connect gimbal mount, which ensures even greater versatility with future payload combinations. One is able to obtain high-quality imagery with the help of the included Vue TV128 payload, and post-flight processing can be done in FLIR Thermal Studio as well as other leading third-party photogrammetry software. When using the 16-megapixel visible camera, one has the ability to zoom in 128 times to zero in on specific details.

The 640x512-pixel, radiometric, integrated Boson camera offers the best-in-class thermal imagery, has a 5x digital zoom, and measures the temperature of every pixel within the scene continuously. SIRAS is also the only enterprise drone to feature Teledyne FLIR's patented MSX® technology, which provides essential data by overlaying thermal images in real-time with edge details from the visible camera.

The SIRAS system is built for both speed and efficiency. The rapid startup time of just one minute combined with the ability to hot-swap batteries ensures quick deployment and efficient operations in even the most challenging environments. This IP-54 rated aircraft is able to withstand the elements, in addition to providing a maximum flight time of 31 minutes and front radar-based collision avoidance. This enables professional UAV pilots to fly safely wherever and whenever the mission requires it.

SIRAS is placing a high priority on the security of data. Instead of storing data through a connection to a cloud-based service, SIRAS stores imagery directly onto an onboard SD card. To improve the system's overall cyber security, it is not necessary for the user to first create an online profile before beginning a mission. There is no capability for cellular transmission, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth on this device (except to comply with remote ID).

SIRAS provides the level of productivity and efficiency that is necessary for professionals to ensure a successful mission by providing the best-in-class imagery, secure data, and seamless integration with the leading photogrammetry software.

According to Mike Zaya, CEO of Enterprise UAS, "We are thrilled to serve as the exclusive master distributor with Teledyne FLIR on this cutting-edge product," says Zaya. "The SIRAS drone is a direct response to market demand. Our customers have long been asking us for a high quality, turnkey solution that takes into consideration the latest technological requirements for the mission along with an airframe that complies with local, state and federal government requirements. Teledyne FLIR has long been the leader in thermal imaging sensors for UAVs, so it's a natural progression to enter with its own high-quality, mission-specific system."

Zaya continued, "Through the relationship with Teledyne FLIR over the years, Enterprise UAS has consistently demonstrated a keen understanding of the important relationship between a customer and their supplier. To that end, EUAS will be managing all channel sales of SIRAS in the United States. We’re excited to partner with the top value-added resellers in the country to help get this important product into the hands of end users."
